Dr Wong is a Specialist in Psychiatry. She is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit, LKS Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong. Through her personal experience and clinical practice, she is informed in the biopsychosocail intersection between perimenopause, menopause and mental health. She endeavours to reduce stigma around mental health through public education.
As a journalist I have been interested in menopause both at a personal level and as part of my work in radio and other media. I have done several radio shows addressing some of the issues related to menopause and the workplace, mental health and the taboos around having open discussions of menopause. I hope to continue to normalise public discussion about menopause and how it affects women and their families' lives.
Julia is a South African Physiotherapist specialising in Paediatrics and Women's Health. She strives to see her patients holistically, providing comprehensive, patient-centred care with compassion and empathy. After graduating, Julia devoted herself to paediatrics as a special interest and passion. In 2016 Julia gave birth to her daughter which inspired her to become an advocate and specialist in women's wellness. With her motto "No women left behind" she strives to bring awareness to, fight taboo and destigmatize women's health challenges, through all stages of life. With her expertise in paediatrics, pelvic floor care and lactation, she hopes to empower women to make informed choices about the healthcare of themselves and their babies.
Dr. Sarah is a Canadian GP who has been in Hong Kong for over 25 years. Her commitment to women's health began as a young doctor at Women's College Hospital in Toronto, where she worked at the Women's MidLife Clinic and the Sexual Assault Crisis team. She continues to advocate for women at every life stage, especially during menopause, and has spoken at numerous events on this important transition. Dr. Sarah works with the Karen Leung Foundation, which raises awareness about gynecological cancers, and The Women’s Network of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. In 2023, she was recognized as an exceptional female leader by the American Chamber of Commerce Women of Influence awards.
Maria is an accomplished C-suite leader with more than 20 years of experience across finance, administration, HR, internal control and operations. She is now Chief Operations Officer of The Women's Foundation. She previously served as the Deputy ED of Aviation Security, CAO and CFO in pharamceutical and healthcare MNCs. She is passionate about gender equality and dedicated to establishing a supportive and equitable workplace environment.
Anna, a FemTech visionary, founded Ultra Violet Agency, the first Women's Health & FemTech trend forecasting agency. Anna began at Elvie, then launched Ultra Violet, highlighting her as a frontrunner in identifying and shaping global trends. Her work includes foresight strategies for corporates, advising FemTech startups, and writing the only trend forecasts in the industry, underlining her pivotal role in health innovation. She both clarifies the future of FemTech and actively moulds it. Her initiatives align with the evolving needs of consumers. Her impact stems from an understanding of market dynamics, an expansive global network, and a commitment to enhancing women's health through tech.
Beth is an internationally accredited functional medicine health coach and founder of B Fit the Wright Way. Specializing in 1:1 coaching for women, she focuses on optimizing physical and mental performance through personalized health and body transformations. With over 25 years of experience in fitness and nutrition, Beth combines functional medicine, sports nutrition, and strength training to help clients understand their bodies, balance hormones, and achieve lasting well-being. As a practicing corporate lawyer, she’s uniquely positioned to support high-achieving women in balancing demanding careers with health goals. Her holistic, science-based approach empowers women to take control of their health through tailored plans and sustainable strategies. Beth also offers online programs focused on hormone health and is a sought-after speaker and writer on wellness and entrepreneurship.
